This wren made me doubt my ability as a field naturalist.
One year I experimented with a different kind of bird box. I keenly watched the box for a while, but, was convinced there was nothing living in it. Five or six weeks passed when I realised that two wrens were feeding their chicks.
 
The thing that made me ashamed was that the box was on the side of a shed that I passed many times a day and I hadn’t noticed. I thought the pair deserved a sculpture.
 
 
As all of our sculptures are made to order, delivery may take up to 10 weeks.
